the other night as i was up late working on a paper (ahh procrastination wins again..), i heard the sweet sound of the heater kick on for the first time this year. now, this means several things: a. winter is inevitably on its way once again. i bought a new pack of socks today. i love wearing brand-new, fresh out of the bag, socks. they feel so great on my feet. seriously, i would rather buy new socks all the time rather then ever washing them. it feels like my feet are singing Handel’s “Messiah” right now.
